A anta de Pavia

A anta de Pavia é um monumento nacional português localizado na vila do mesmo nome. Foi erguida entre o IV e o III milénio a.C., tendo sido transformada numa capela dedicada a São Dinis ou São Dionísio no século XVII.

Sempre que por lá passo não consigo deixar de pensar na ascentralidade desta edificação pagã, simbólica, magico-religiosa, que vem atravessando os séculos sempre majestosa, embora singela.
O seu interior merece uma visita.

                                                                                       The Christianed Dolmen is the largest of a  
                                                                                       cluster of at least four dolmens, located in and 
                                                                                       around  the tiny village of Pavia. It was built 
                                                                                       between the IV and the III milenium b.C,   
                                                                                       having been adapted to its current use as a 
                                                                                       chapel dedicated to St Dinis or St Dionísio

                                                                                       of the eras this pagan building has seen,

Dolmen Chapelle de Pavia
Le Dolmen Chapelle de Pavia, dédié à Saint Denis (XVIIe siècle), est un des monuments mégalithiques portugais transformés en lieu de culte chrétien. La chambre fut ainsi adaptée à la nef de la chapelle.
