Ermida de S. Sebastião

A Ermida de S. Sebastião foi edificada em finais do século XVI por D. João Coutinho e sua esposa Dª. Francisca de Meneses, com a intenção de louvar os desaparecidos na Batalha de Alcácer Quibir, em especial o monarca D. Sebastião. Ainda está na posse dos Condes de Redondo. 

Igreja de grande sobriedade, composta por nave, capela-mor e sacristia. A fachada apresenta um remate em amarelo e, por cima da porta, está um óculo. Na sacristia estão guardadas cruzes processionais e mobiliário de grande valor. 

A ermida localiza-se em Pavia, concelho de Mora.

EN - The St. Sebastian Chapel was built in the late sixteenth century by Earl João Coutinho and his wife Countess Francisca de Meneses, with the intention of praising the missing in the Battle of Alcacer Quibir, in particular King Sebastião. Currently still in possession of the Counts of Redondo.

Church of great sobriety, consisting of nave, chancel and sacristy. The façade has a dash of yellow and above the door there is an oculus. Processional crosses and great value furniture are kept in the sacristy.

The chapel is located in Pavia, in Mora municipality.

FR - La chapelle Saint-Sébastien a été construite à la fin du XVIe siècle par le comte João Coutinho et sa femme la comtesse Francisca de Meneses, dans l'intention de rendre hommage aux soldats disparus dans la bataille d'Alcacer Quibir, en particulier au roi Sebastião. La chapelle est encore en possession des Comtes de Redondo.

Ils'agit d'une église très sobre, composée d'une nef, d'un  choeur et d'une sacristie. La façade est encadrée par une bordure en jaune, et au-dessus de la porte il y a un oculus. Les croix de procession et des meubles de grande valeur sont conservés dans la sacristie.

La chapelle se situe à Pavia dans la commune de Mora.
